Are you ready for some fireworks? Summer is upon us! I’m excited for the big parade my community puts on and it was so missed because of Covid last year. The seating game is fierce. Weeks before the parade people put their chairs out to mark their parade real estate, others use stakes and tape. We found our favorite spot years ago and thankfully have never had our markers taken, removed or chairs stolen. We take our coffee, chairs and head to the parade along with Sparkle (of course). She loves the parade, the people, the loving touches. Sparkle is soooo happy until the parade horses trot by her. Oh my! Then we all look around as she barks frantically...whose crazy dog is this? Why is she jumping out of her fur coat and growling? We’d better find her owners (HA)! Just goes to show we all have our moments, even Sparkle, the world’s happiest rescue pup.
